About Us

Our Story

Tortora Construction, LLC, is a third-generation family-owned and licensed contracting company specializing in remodeling, renovation, and tile installation. You could say this line of work is in our blood. After finishing college and working on my first home, I realized that all the years of holding the flashlight and sweeping up had finally taught me a thing or two about remodeling. In 2003, I decided to leave my field of study and start wearing a toolbelt.

After moving to the Sandhills in 2004, I began at the ground level of home construction and quickly worked my way to the top. Working for another General Contractor who saw potential in my work and wanting to see me succeed as a competitor was a pivotal moment in my early career. Earning my contractor’s license in 2008, I weathered the economic downturn that year and, nearly 20 years later, I’m still passionate about what I do.

Nearly every task has been hands-on for me. Whether working with wood or tile, I always aim to deliver the highest quality craftsmanship. As an owner-operator, my onsite supervision and direct labor streamline the process, ensuring quality and consistency. Everyone who has worked with us can attest that we stand by our word—delivering what we promise. This reputation has helped us build almost 20 years of trust and projects in the Sandhills of North Carolina. Let us help you realize your home’s full potential.
